We are Kostas and Angeliki, who over time became “grizo & prasino” (gray & green).
We live in Thrace, and here – despite all the difficulties of our region – we explore, dream, and produce Greek organic herbs with respect and honesty, constantly generating new botanical experiences.
Agricultural scientist and legal professional, we have been fortunate enough to turn our passions into professions. One cultivates using methods that ensure the planet’s future, while the other convinces the world that herbs are not only medicines but also a gastronomic treasure.
We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we do take our work very seriously…
OUR STORY
It all started in 2012 when, without much thought, we decided to buy a dryer and turn our hobby into a hobby that would cover its own expenses.
Back then, they called us “herbalists,” and the business plan was simple… organic herbs, tasty tea, and a good heart.
Five years later, after many mistakes, hard work, and extensive reading, we became Grizo & Prasino in December 2017, and we set out to reintroduce aromatic and medicinal plants to everyone.
Since then, many things have changed. Above all, we have become a team. It’s no longer just the two of us. We are very happy about this and proud that every year we become better. We do everything a little more right. For us, for our customers, our partners, AND for the environment.
OUR MISSION
We dream of herbs on the festive table. Herbs served as they should be. Herbs instead of alcohol. Herbs with alcohol.
We are still at the beginning, but “we are on a mission.” And we bring with us plenty of botanical enthusiasm!
We want to inspire you to find time with a cup in hand. Time for yourself and those you love.
We aim to share our knowledge to make the high quality of herbs a standard, a conscious choice, and ultimately a demand.
We plan to change things so that those who love herbs can enjoy the same quality and variety as coffee enthusiasts more frequently. We can’t wait to show you how much you can do with herbs and how wonderful their flavor is when prepared correctly.

OUR NAME
Our field is gray(=grizo) in winter and green(=prasino) in summer.
And that’s how life is. It has sorrows and joys. Luck and misfortune. Gray and green, succeeding each other.
Like us and like our business. We are not perfect. And because we admit it, we feel free and constantly strive to become better.
